God's Plan of Salvation - How do I become a Christian?
There are seven facts revealed in God's plan of salvation and as you study them, keep in mind that this is God's plan -- not man's --. There is no other plan that can save your lost soul and make you a child of God's. Acts 4:12 reads "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there i no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be save.".
All roads may lead to Rome , but all religions do not lead to God and Salvation. There is only one way, and that is God's way; and God's way is a person, and that person is His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:6 reads "Jesus said to him, " I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.".
God does Love You
John 3:16 reads "For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but
have everlasting life.". You must understand that God does
Love you.
You are a sinner
Romans 3:23 reads "for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God". We are all sinners, ever last one of
us. We must admit to God and to ourselves that we are sinners.
You are now dead in sin
Romans 6:23 reads " for the wages of sin is death, but the gift
of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.". We
must understand that God Loves each of us but He does not Love our
sins. We can't become sinless but our sins can be covered by the
Blood of Jesus Christ and through the Grace that our Father extends to
us.
Christ died for you
Romans 5:6-8 reads "For when we were still without strength in due
time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man
will one die, yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to
die. but God demonstrates His own Love toward us in that while
we were still sinners, Christ died for us.". He bore all of our
sins own His own shoulders so that we might have everlasting life.
You can be saved by Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
Read Acts 16:30,31 "And he brought them out and said, "Sirs,
what must I do to be saved?" So they said, "Believe on the
Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your
household.".". All you need to do is to believe on the Lord
Jesus Christ, understand that He was sent to Earth to die for our sins.
You can be saved and know it
Read 1 John 5:10-13 "He who believes in the Son of God has the
witness in himself, he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because
he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And
this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is
in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have
the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you
who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have
eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of
God.". This witness is the Holy Spirit. You see all who has
salvation has the Holy Spirit within us to help us along life's pathways.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, Obey Him
Read Acts 5:29 "But Peter and the other apostles answered and
said: "We ought to obey God rather than men." If you
have prayed a prayer to God seeking forgiveness for your sins and have
recognized that Jesus is the Son of God sent to the earth to die for
our sins and have asked to be a child of the King, then obey God in
all things. Find a church and join in the fellowship with other
believers and let God lead you in your life. Your world will be
much better for it. I pray that if you are not saved that the
Lord will use this message to help you understand your need for Him to
